Funds raised from this sale will be directed to helping the Ukrainian civilians suffering from the war initiated by Putin. Austrian Programmer And Ex Crypto CEO Likely Stole $11 Billion Of Ether. Alongside the announcement of her new book, Laura Shin believes to have uncovered the identity of The DAO hacker, an individual who stole 3.6 million ether in 2016 from the original DAO, leading to a hard fork of the network. Toby Hoenisch, former CEO of failed ICO TenX, is believed to have been the hacker, although he denies the allegations and refuses to speak to Shin.
