Twitter has officially integrated NFT profile picture support, allowing you to connect your Ethereum wallet and display your verifiably-owned NFT. Music NFT Landscape. If 2021 was the rise of NFTs, 2022 is where they’ll weave their way into a variety of industries. First up: Music NFTs. This piece does a great job of exploring what they are, why they’re important, and where the space is at right now. Creators (not music specific) made over $3.5B on Ethereum in 2021, competing with the likes of Spotify and Youtube. If you’re a musician or a music fan, this is definitely a space to explore. Adidas and Prada joint user-generated NFT Drop. Adidas Originals, following its Into the Metaverse launch, has partnered with Prada to launch a user-generated NFT project highlighting creator and user-generated content. Digital artist Zach Lieberman will combine 3000 community-sourced NFTs and compile them as a single mass-patchwork design. Proceeds from the project will go toward Slow Factory, a non-profit organization. LOVE TO SEE 🔥
